Biographical Information |
Michelle Moore is a Florida native
and she graduated from the University of Florida with a degree
in Education. She then attended Reformed Theological Seminary
earning a master's degree in Counseling. She is currently a
registered mental health counselor intern with the State of
Florida.
In college, Michelle began
working with young adults and adolescents through internships in
ministry, and continued that ministry for the next eight years.
These experiences working with and alongside the church have
helped shape her philosophy and approach to counseling.
Michelle's enjoys working
with adolescents who struggle with a variety of issues. She has
experience and enjoys working with individuals who struggle with
issues such as depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, trauma, eating
disorders, self-injury, women's issues and ADHD. She also enjoys
working with newly married or engaged couples by helping them
work towards a healthy relationship.
Michelle believes that methods to helpful counseling are as
unique as each client, and she uses a dynamic approach centered
around engaging the client at a deep level. Her goal is that
clients would be able to find hope and help for their daily
struggles, while also finding deep healing for their hearts
